Capable of producing up to 5,000 kilograms (11,023 pounds) per hour (depending on plate size, product, and product temperature with a hopper volume of 500 liters, our Thompson 5000 Series industrial mixer/grinder is designed for large volume production.

- Built to withstand harsh production environments, the Thompson 5000 Series mixer/grinder is manufactured of heavy duty stainless steel and features seam welded corners inside and out. The smooth easy to clean surfaces, solid stainless steel feedscrew, grinding head, lock ring, and mixing arm reflect the quality construction of this machine.
- The specially designed mixing paddle along with the 5000 Series’ automatic forward/reverse action mixing gently blends fat and lean product by tumbling product from top to bottom and from corner to corner within the hopper to deliver consistent well mixed batches. A continuous grind is made possible with the two speed direct drive feedscrew and right angle paddles on the mixing arm.
- A continuous grind is made possible with the 20/20 horsepower, two speed, highly efficient gear motor driven feedscrew, which rests in a uniquely designed channel and is positioned at a right angle to the hopper and the mixing paddle. This results in limited exposure to the feedscrew and eliminates overworking of the product.
- Our 5000 mixer/grinder is also equipped with a 20/20 horsepower, two speed grinding motor that allows greater flexibility for processing a broad range of products more efficiently while increasing production speeds.
- The #66 size (220mm) grinding head delivers high production rates for a variety of products. Equipped with reliable gear drives, you never have to worry about down time due to belt or chain failure.
